Waterproof shoe in Gore-Tex® membrane specific for winter running. Structured and protective, it is suitable for Ultra Trails, Ultra Marathons and extended training sessions in the winter months. Akyra GTX® is particularly enveloping, comfortable and breathable.
 It adopts a water-repellent and anti-drag mesh upper that is very enveloping and structured on 3 layers that give from the inside to the outside: comfort, thanks to the seamless construction; flexibility and structure thanks to the innovative MicroLite Skeleton ™ application that dynamically follows the movement of the foot during the run; protection thanks to the Flex-Guard ™ structural applications that keep the shoe light but at the same time provide a barrier against the abrasions possible running between rocks and roots. The exceptional stability is given by the TrailCage System ™ technology which placed between the two layers of the upper gives structure and snug fit integrating with the lacing system. The sole developed by the La Sportiva R&D department mounts the new adherent FriXion XT tread with Impact Brake System and exclusive design with Trail Rocker technology that favors the natural "external heel-internal toe" support of the foot during running.
 Cushioning, protection and comfort, 3 sides of a perfect geometry: origami, which inspired the overall design of the shoe. With Akyra, winter running is an art.
