Belay device with cam assisted locking and panic handle, particularly suitable for training and intensive use
GRIGRI + is a belay device with assisted locking system and anti-panic handle. Cam assisted locking improves belaying comfort when working the routes and stopping falls. The reduction of the handle guarantees exceptional control of the descent. A selector button allows you to choose between two belaying modes: ropes or lead climbing. The roping belay mode and the anti-panic handle make GRIGRI + particularly suitable for training. Can be used with all single strings from 8.5 to 11mm. Thanks to the stainless steel reinforcement plate, it is suitable for intensive use in the gym and on the cliff.

- Cam-assisted locking belay device for practice at the crag and in the gym:
- common technique, based on the accompaniment of the rope in the device and the permanent holding of one hand on the braking side of the rope,
- belaying comfort, thanks to the assisted locking with cam: in the event of a fall or rest of the climber, the rope stretches, the cam rotates and tightens the rope to lock it,
- assisted locking with cam which guarantees a high tolerance of the hand on the braking side, regardless of the angle between the rope of the climber and the braking side,
- installation drawing on the rope engraved on the belay device (inside and outside). - Exceptional comfort during the descent:
- comfortable grip and easy release of the rope, thanks to the ergonomic handle
- very progressive control of the sliding of the rope to ensure a smooth and comfortable descent
- reduction of the handle by 3 for better control of the sliding of the rope on small diameters and less effort on the handle for large diameters of rope. - Particularly suitable for training and intensive use:
- panic handle: if the insurer pulls the handle too hard, the panic function is activated,
- choice of belay mode, ropes or lead climbing, thanks to the lockable selection button: the belay mode in ropes facilitates rope recovery and guarantees more comfortable belaying,
- compatible with all dynamic single ropes from 8.5 to 11 mm and optimized for ropes with diameters between 8.9 and 10.5 mm
- excellent resistance, for intensive use, thanks to the stainless steel reinforcement plate.
